What is a moderator?
Consider it a coach job! Moderators assure that their sections on the forums stays active, clean and to make sure the rules are respected.

What status and rights do I get?
There will be 3 type of moderators! 1.Trial Mod (3 days of activity probation) 2. Moderator (You have all rights besides power over the users accounts) 3.AllStar Mod (All rights, can ban users)

What are my chances of becoming a Mod?
Currently high, but with time the chances will lower down. To stand out from the crowd create topics, get karma/reputation and participate in active topics.

Are the moderators like... gods?
No... Moderators also have to respect the rules and can be demoted or even banned for crazy illegal stuffs. They stay members and humans and they aren't here to just play the police.

This is more of a forum suggestion seen we don't have a specific place for it yet.

I thought it would be cool to have titles after you reach a certain amount of posts. I don't know about the general population for this particular game but on other forums I get modivated to post more soley to get a new title. It would encourage posters to post more and get over the newbie title which most forums generally have below 20 posts.

If the forums get too big however, a ranking system could cause people to spam alot. Probably not a problem in the forseeable future though.

That's why theres rules in place if they know spamming is bannable which it says so already in the rules they won't spam. Just because you post say 100 posts a day doesn't mean it's spam so long as it's on topic and not 2 words.

Yes it is true that spamming could be a problem when the forum get populated. Luckily there are rules and there will be moderators to keep users in check.
Ranking system to me is not a bad thing or a good thing, so it is up to Mia whether we have one or not.

I am not really a forum type person and I don't really know much about the game at my current self. However, I would like to trial as a moderator to see whether I am up for the job or not.

Good suggestion. Right now the game is not popular yet but it will I hope . Just hope the users doesn't spam for titles and I know there will be idiots out there who will do that. lol

There is a topic made exclusivly for suggestions though! >_> As for the rankings, forgive me I forgot to mention it on the list but it will be available. [To know more check out the suggestions topic] -Runs there to post the rest...

P.S. And sincerely, as the forum grows bigger, rank or no rank there will always be spam on forums but as MM said, that's why Mods are here and that's why there is rules. ^_^

Lol. I was a moderator for WarriorEpic and a bunch of private game servers, however being a mod for someone elses guild might be a like... awkward x3.

Lol I created the forums as an alternate community for Bright Shadow, since I believe the official forums are lacking of everything, a lot. =P

I think I just told you that in some other topic... my mind is playing me tricks, I'm gone for 2 days and I see y'all spamming! Nothing to complain about but.. I shall catch up lol.

Those official forums make me want to rage x_x. They lack even the simplest of things... Editing, private messages, ability to insert hyperlinks, etc.
